A childrens book about a pug named Oscar who helps Lucas the monkey overcome his anxiety regarding heights! Hopefully it will remind Lucas that you shouldn't let the fear of failing stop you from getting to where you want to be! Too many of us monkeys let our fears and doubts stand in the way of our dreams, too afraid to take one step into the dangerous world of change and growth! So you fall down - it's ok! Brush yourself off and keep going! In the words of Oscar the pug," Whatev's" . Written by Laura Dunford - a promising young writer who has just been accepted to attend Newcastle University for her Ph. D in English Literature - and illustrated by myself! This book will be dedicated to Dianna and her little monkey! Photo Shoot Sept 5th with Ottawa Photographer Amen Jafri and Makeup Artist Jessica Van Der Wal 08/19/2010

![]() Confidence and self-love. Every year we get a little bit closer to knowing that we are all perfect and unique creations... but we still have a ways to go before we are comfortable with transparency and honesty to and of ourselves. I hope my works can naturalize the female form and provide comfort for those who have only seen plastic bodies and enhanced faces, as well as those fighting for representation of real female bodies.
